In case you’ve somehow avoided the hype, Michael Phelps became the most decorated Olympian of all time this past week. (Try topping that answer for the, “so what did you do this summer?” question.) And while Ryan Lochte—his main competition on the U.S. Olympic team—beat him out in the 400-meter relay, Ryan has a long way to go before he even touches Phelps’s success. Luckily, in the spirit of a true Olympian, Lochte hasn’t seemed to give up, but rather, uses Phelps’s success a fuel in his fire to work harder.
